BEST Protein Bars.....EVER!!!

There are many times where you want to grab a snack on-the-go. For me, I like to grab a bar and throw it in my bag before I go to work or school. Bars are always an easy on-the-go snack. It's small, easy to store, can fulfill your hunger for a few hours, and it provides better nutrition than most on-the-go snacks. But most bars are high on carbohydrates, high on fat, and low on protein. These bars advertise that they are high in protein, but they don't advertise carbs or calories. The whole point of a protein bar is for the protein, not the carbs. You can find many protein bars at grocery stores or retail stores: Met-RX, Powerbar, Pure Protein, Clif, Special K, and Supreme just to name a few. Years ago, I became aware of a protein bar that is high on protein, low on carbs, and satisfies my dessert cravings. Click 'Read More' to find out which bar I am talking about.

                 Quest Nutrition Protein Bar

Quest Bars.....YUUUUMM! It's made with high quality ingredients, tastes amazing, and contains the macronutrients people want. You can eat it the way it is (as a bar), heat it up in the microwave for a few seconds, use as an ingredient and bake with it, and more!

The above picture is an example of the chocolate cookie dough flavor's nutrition facts. As you can see, it is very low in sugar (no sugar added), low in fat, and it have the right amount of calories a snack bar should have.

Comparing with other protein bars, Quest Bars have the best macronutrients. Less carbs, less sugar, and less calories. Besides the amazing nutrition facts, they have delicious flavors as well. Some of their flavors are cookies and cream, raspberry cheesecake, and their new and limited time flavor pumpkin pie. Quest Bars prove that there can be a bar that you don't have to sacrifice taste for nutrients.

If you are interested to be a consumer of Quest Bars, they are sold online on their website, or at retail stores such at GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, and some health nutrition stores. Beware: Quest Bars are more expensive than other protein bars ($2.39 per bar/$24.99 per box of 12 bars). But with every healthy lifestyle food, there is a price to pay.
